Business Continuity Awareness Week (BCAW) events will take place around Australia and New Zealand between Monday 21st and Friday 25th March 2011.  

BCI ACT Forum Leader, Meredith Walker (AFP), ACT BCI Representative, Cass Morgan (AusAID), and others invite you and your BC colleagues to join us at our Joint Business Continuity Institute (BCI) and Continuity Forum meeting to be held on 23 March 2011 at the Ernst & Young, 121 Marcus Clarke St, Canberra between 3 and 5 pm with registration to commence from 2.45 pm and networking drinks to follow until 6 pm.

Business Assurance Australia’s risk specialist will chair an up-coming Corporate Risk Management Conference to be held in Sydney on the 28-30 March 2011.

The conference will focus on the issues, challenges and trends presented in the corporate governance and risk management areas of both public and private sector organisations.

Richard Agnew, Business Assurance Australia’s Managing Director, will chair the conference that will also include governance, risk management and other specialists from a diverse range of organisations. Speakers will present case studies from Federal and State Government organisations which will be also balanced by the experience of the private sector.

The focus of the conference will be best practice in design, implementation and operation of frameworks, standards and emerging practices.
